ARDMORE, Okla. -- Congressman Tom Cole made a trip to Ardmore on Monday to meet with war heroes and tour the Ardmore Veterans Center.
Cole met with veterans asking just what improvements they would like to see for the Ardmore center.
The residents were glad to see Cole tour the facility and show his concern for our heroes.
Cole’s father was also a patient of the Ardmore Vet Center, so being back and wanting to help the patients is an important issue for the congressman.
One of the most needed things is new x-ray equipment and more medical staff. They currently have to send off their x-rays, waiting up to three days for results.
