SHERMAN -- Another FEMA Disaster Recovery System has opened, this one in Sherman.
Representatives from federal and state agencies are staffing the office in the Shafer Crossing Shopping Center on Highway 75 beginning Tuesday.
The center will be located at 2918 Highway 75, Suite 400.
Officials say these centers are designed to help flood victims with the recovery process.
Beginning on Wednesday they'll be open from 8:00 a.m. til 6:00 p.m., seven days a week, until further notice.
Another location opened in Gainesville earlier this week.
Red Cross officials say they will now send caseworkers to homes in Cooke and Grayson Counties.
Help is available to flood victims by calling 1-800-REDCROSS or
www.redcross.org.
