The body of a missing Coal County woman was found Saturday afternoon by investigators in a body of water.
Friends in the Buck Creek Bridge area just west of Tupelo last saw 47-year-old Sandra Gore on Tuesday.
Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation officials say a state medical examiner investigator will transport Gore’s body to Oklahoma City for an autopsy.
Officials say Gore required daily medications and suffered from a chronic illness. The investigation into her disappearance is still on going. The autopsy results will determine what steps law enforcement will take next.
