You can bet there IS raw sewage in the lake, if the outdoor toilets are under water - like at Johnson Creek, Bryan County.

Is there a site concerning the status of the lake? We have not heard if you can go out on a boat or if you can fish??? Someone needs to let people know what the health risks are so people are not doing things that are harmful to themselves. If I fish out of the lake is the fish good to eat? I just don't know. We also heard that sewage was in the lake and that has not be confirmed yet either. Please someone inform me so I can make other plans for my summer if I can't get on the lake. We are following up at the lake today (7/26/2007), so watch today or check KXII.com later for coverage.

The lake around Buncombe Creek and Juinper Point smells just like raw sewage.

THE LAKE IS VERY DIRTY. THINK ABOUT THE NASTY TOILETS THAT HAVE BEEN UNDER WATER. THE MORE THE WATER SITS THE WORST IT IS.

How come NO ONE ever says anything about Grand Pappy Marina? Is it closed or open or what. I have a boat over there and can't seem to get anyone to respond.
