FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- A fugitive out of Bonham is in jail Tuesday being held on a bond of $50,000.

Jody Paul Sadler had recently escaped from officers after a high-speed chase. Authorities say Sadler held a gun to the driver's head during that chase.

Sadler later escaped on foot.

He was caught Monday night by U.S. Marshals, Fannin County deputies, and Bonham police officers.

Sadler will be charged with possession of narcotics and felon in possession of a firearm.

Mr.X you are an idiot! This man is my ex husband he is a very loving man. My daughter I'm sure would agree with me telling you to read a book, and gain some intelligence, but I refuse to let her know people like you are out there. Please pray for Jody and all like him to rid themselves of the life of drug addiction, it is a disease. Jody has a college education, a very upstanding family, and people who love him.
