ARDMORE, Okla. -- Dave Leonardo spent his first day checking on his officers and seeing what changes he will make as the new chief of the Ardmore Police Department on Monday.
Leonardo was appointed last month by the City of Ardmore as their new chief, and on Monday he officially took over the reigns.
Leonardo spent the last seven years in Peoria, Arizona, and made the move to Ardmore after their recent study showed the department having low morale and a lack of leadership in the department.
We will have more from the Chief Leonardo and find out what changes he could be making at the Ardmore Police Department as he continues his first week on the job.
