CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Residents in Springer and Gene Autry spent a few hours in the dark on Tuesday.
Over 800 O G & E customers were without power for most of the morning.
Officials say around 8:30, a transformer blew, causing the main power station to shut down.
O G & E had the power back up and running a little after 10 a.m.
Company representatives say they think the humidity is causing problems with the power stations.
