BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. -- Authorities say they have recovered the body of a Blue, Oklahoma, woman who had been missing for nearly a week.

Bryan County Sherriff's deputies brought in search dogs to help look for Cindy Phillips, 50, early on Friday morning.

Around one o'clock, they say they found her body in an open field behind her home on Robinson Road.

Investigators say the woman disappeared some time around 9 p.m. on Sunday night after speaking with her father.

"We had the Pathfinder search and rescue, the under sheriff and another deputy came out with them they found her along the fence line on her property," said Bryan Country Sheriff's investigator John Bates.

Authorities say Phillips’ body was sent to Oklahoma City for an autopsy.

They say the cause of death is unknown.

Natalie and Codie: Our prayer go out to you, and your family. I talked to your Grandfather yesterday and he was so broken up over the lost of his daughter. Their's nothing words can say that could express the lost of your mother and my friend. I can only remember the good times we had together on the motorcycle, and the MG. My Blessings are with you all.

My heart goes out for this family. I found my mother in Dec. after she had fallen and broken her hip and shoulder and died from hypothermia. I find some minimal comfort that at least the weather preserved her body so that we could say her goodbyes. My prayers go out to this family as this has brought an all to fresh memory to surface. I hope that they have a faith that will see them through.

I was watching kten and they advised this woman had bipolar,I as a mother of a 19yr old who suffers with this disease my heart goes out to the family.I cannot tell you how this disease can effect one in so many ways,My daughter would just take up and disappear without letting anyone know when, where or how she was going and she maybe gone for days.It is the scariest feeling of not knowing what has happened to that loved one and to sit and fear the worst. My condolences are with this family and I hope and pray that this will be an eye opener to people in our community that the families with loved ones who suffer from this condition need help and support and the understanding from the community. And a support group is much needed for the families and a place for them to turn to when and before something of this kind of tragedy takes place to another family within our community. My thoughts and prayers are with you and I am very sorry you are having to go through such a terrible tragedy.
