Sherman Elks Bike Fun Run
It's a bike fun run that only the Sherman Elks could pull off. The event was to help raise money for flood victims. All proceeds went to the American Legion in Pottsboro after their building was flooded in June.
Len Smith with the Sherman Elks Lodge says, “We're doing it and it was just when we would do it, that was just the biggest things as soon as we could get this together. We got it together and had all of our advertisement out there to get it done.”
Sparky Cox with the Pottsboro Legion Director says, “We do appreciate the Elks Lodge here in Sherman putting together this event to help our legion out at the lake that’s one organization helping another organization."
