It's that time of the year, when kids have to return to school, so why not have a little fun before going back to homework?
Inside Midway Mall in Sherman Saturday, children had the chance to do just that! Enjoying the summer before the hustle and bustle of school. Simon Kidgits' Club invited local kids to cook up some fun during their super duper mini chef's event.
Young budding chefs created their own pizza with candy and colored pot holders, brings good old-fashioned fun in the kitchen, while learning a thing or two about eating right.
Lana Bernardin with Midway Mall says, “We had the nutritionist here from the north Dallas Food Bank and she’s giving all kinds of information of safe ways to eat. You can eat fun stuff as long as you the right stuff along with it."
