Boy now in stable condition after accidental shooting

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- The 12-year-old Fannin County boy shot earlier this week is now in stable condition.

The boy was accidentally shot in the head by his 14-year-old brother on Monday.

Deputies say the boys were home alone when the shooting occurred.

Both parents were at work at the time of the shooting.

Two pistols were also found in the home.

The shooting is still under investigation.
