Bryan Co. accident sends 4 to hospital
BRYAN COUNTY, Okla. -- Four people have been hospitalized after a head-on collision, and a Union Pacific train had to be stopped for over an hour.
It happened around eight o'clock on Tuesday morning on a county road near Caddo, Oklahoma.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol officials say both vehicles were traveling down the road when 36-year-old Sarah Grace hit a patch of heavy dust traveling left of center and hit 49-year-old Kenneth Wingfield head-on.
“Right now it appears that the cause was visibility and a driver becoming disoriented in the heavy dust that was created by a large truck that had just come through here about the same time,” said Steve Nabors with OHP.
Grace and her two children were all transported by air to Parkland Hospital in Dallas. They are all listed in serious condition.
Wingfield was transported to Texoma Medical Center. He is listed in critical condition.
