Former deputy in court

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Ray Allen Haworth , a former deputy accused of molesting three teenage girls, was in court on Thursday.

Haworth is charged with 5 counts of lewd acts with a minor for incidents that happened in July.

Haworth waived his preliminary hearing Thursday and will be formally arraigned on September 5th.

Haworth was once a deputy for Carter County, and at the time of his arrest, was working as a youth minister at a Lone Grove church.
