ARDMORE, Okla. -- Over three years ago, Ardmore Schools started looking into the possibility of adding on to Charles Evans Elementary School. By October 2007, that dream will be a reality, but some parents want to know the process of moving students and how much the move will improve classroom environment.

School officials say there is still a lot of work to be done on the new Charles Evans addition but by mid-semester, students should start reaping the benefits of a new building.

Construction was put on hold due to the summer rain, setting the project back by about two months.

Principal Denise Brunk says the new school won't just free up some much needed room but will have the opportunity to have other benefits they currently don't have the room for.

Brunk was excited to see the building come to life and says her teachers are ready as well.

"I had the opportunity to walk through the new building a month or so ago, and it just gave me goose bumps."

It's only a matter of time before they start shoving 'super' elementary down our throats again! ::sigh::

If parents really want to know what is going on dont ask Denise Brunk, she dont know whats going on, thats why they kicked her out as assistant high school principle, ask the superintendent or the head of maintance. If parents are really eager to know, some of the teachers are going to need volunteers to help with the move and parents are encouraged to volunteer.
