DENISON, Tex. -- When police arrived at J-M Manufacturing off Highway 75 early Thursday morning, they found a man stripping the building of around $1,500 of copper.
The 36-year-old Denison man took off running through a field, but officers nabbed him and were able to take him into custody.
"We’ve made several arrests over the last few months. This place has been victimized before. So we were very happy that we were able to make an arrest" said Mike Eppler of the Denison Police Department.
The suspect is in the Grayson County Jail charged with criminal mischief, trespassing and evading arrest.
The man’s name has not been released.
