WHITEWRIGHT, Tex. -- Do you think you have what it takes to be on the silver screen? On Saturday, X1 Productions will hold a casting call in Whitewright for their new movie Infidelity. City officials say the production company is looking for up to 100 extras for the film for which the town of Whitewright will serve as the backdrop.
City leaders like economic development director Elijah Dusek say this is great exposure for Whitewright.
"If the film hits or becomes a series, it could easily help make Whitewright more of a tourist destination."
The casting call will take place this Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside Whitewright City Hall.
When you show up, be ready to fill out a form, get your picture taken, and be interviewed.
The company will begin filming on Saturday, September 15th.
