Grayson Co. holds public budget hearing
GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- After months of work, Grayson County commissioners have a preliminary budget on the table. They are scheduled to hold a public hearing on proposed tax rates Thursday night.
Commissioners say the tax rate is the same, but their revenue has increased by about $684,000 because of new homes in the county plus appraisal levels.
This is the first of two hearings on the subject.
