Sherman man gets probation in case that killed 19-year-old

GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- A 20-year-old man plead guilty to intoxicated manslaughter in a Grayson County courtroom in late August. Now, Jayson Hollaway, from Sherman, has been sentenced to ten years probation. He will be sent to prison if he breaks that probation.

Hollaway was sentenced after a car accident in March of 2006 killed Melton Scribner, 19, on Old Dorchester Road.

Holloway has been fined $10,000. He has also plead guilty to intoxicated assault with a vehicle causing serious bodily injury.
