DENISON – Construction on South Park Avenue in Denison began on Wednesday. Southbound traffic will be moved into one lane only as early as next Monday, September 17.
Also beginning Wednesday, Juanita Drive at the Union Pacific Railroad crossing will be closed for repairs to the rail bed. The street should be re-opened for traffic by 5 p.m. Friday. Recommended alternative routes to access FM 84 are SH 91 and U.S. Highway 75.
The construction at the Crawford Street exit off U.S. 75 has also been completed. Travelers can again access Crawford Street Road to Lillis Lane at exit 68.
