Mom arrested
GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- The mother of a toddler who disappeared near Gordonville, Texas, on Thursday is now in custody. Grayson County Sheriff's officials say Elizabeth Tidwell of Whitesboro noticed her four-year-old boy was not in the backyard around 2 p.m., but it wasn't until an hour later that he was reported missing by his grandparents.
Deputies say a neighbor who lives two miles away found the boy on her property. Child Protective Services was called to investigate, and Tidwell was arrested for endangering a child and possession of marijuana.
Her bond was set at $21,500.
4 arrested in pot bust
GORDONVILLE, Tex. -- Four people were arrested after serving a narcotic search warrant in Gordonville, Texas.
A woman and her son were among those arrested. Tammy Chill was in the home when authorities searched the home along with her 19-year old son, Richard Wise, Jr.
James Aubrey Hill of Kingston was arrested when trying to leave the residence.
Preston Renae Douglas of Gordonville and Kerry Allan Ramsey of Denison were found nearby and also taken into custody.
Investigators say they found over 75 bags of marijuana, over $3,000 in cash, scales, and packaging material.
All were placed in custody at the Grayson County Jail with bonds set as high as $5,000.
