Denison man drowns in Red River
Updated: 10:34 PM - BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- A man drowned Monday afternoon in Bryan County Authorities say it is the first drowning in the area this fiscal year.
DURANT, Okla. -- Police in Durant are searching for suspects after a man was hit by a car early Sunday morning.
Officers say at 2:00 a.m., as Cheyenne’s Club on Radio Road was closing, someone in a car hit Todd Curley, 23, of Tishomingo, dragged him over two hundred feet, and then drove off. Curley was taken by helicopter to Parkland Hospital in Dallas.
Another person was able to jump out of the way of the vehicle.
Curlew was last listed in serious condition.
Officers say they found the car in Tishomingo, but as of their last report they were still on the search for the person or people responsible.
