New program to save heart attack victims

SHERMAN, Tex. -- Sherman firefighters are training for a new program that may save the lives of heart patents in distress. Firefighters say they are working along side Wilson N Jones to get accreditation for a grant through the hospital.

It will provide EMS workers the ability to notify doctors within minutes if a patient is having a major heart attack.

Brown says this gives doctors the ability to have everything ready to treat the patients once the ambulance arrives at the hospital.
