CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- A fatal wreck in Carter County involving one vehicle happened around six o'clock Wednesday morning on Dickson Road just south of Highway 199.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says Randall F. Forman, 26, and Mark A. Cryer, 35, both of Ardmore, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities say Forman’s vehicle went off the right side of the road when the driver over-corrected and rolled two-and-a half times.

OHP says neither the driver nor the passenger was wearing a seat belt.

A very sad story. My heart goes out to the families. I just wish the picture of the truck was not shown on TV. That must be hard for the families to see.

Those bobtail tank trucks have a hight center of gravity, combine that with the rough edge of the road and you have the perfect conditions for disaster.
