GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Pilots from all over the United States are in Grayson County competing in the U.S National Aerobatics Competition. Friends even go head-to-head to see who’s got the moves it takes to impress the judges.
More than a competition, pilots say this is a chance to be a part of a great air show while hanging out with their best buds.
"There’s three of us who fly together. We meet all over the country. The bottom line is camaraderie," pilot Alan Bush says.
The competition wraps up on Friday, which is considered the best day to watch the competition. The pilots perform more moves and release the smoke that makes air shows and competitions so popular.
