AAA's Tipsy Tow service is once again being provided by AAA Oklahoma for the St. Patrick's Day holiday - running from noon this Sunday, March 17 until 4 a.m. Monday, March 18 - in metro Tulsa and Oklahoma City, and also in Ardmore, Bartlesville, Enid, Lawton, Muskogee, Shawnee and Tahlequah.
If you feel unsafe behind the wheel after drinking at a holiday party, AAA Oklahoma will come get you and your vehicle and give both a free, safe ride home.
"Too many times, we hear of Oklahomans getting into trouble when they attempt to drive after drinking. Over the holidays, up to 40 percent of all fatal crashes involve alcohol," said Chuck Mai, spokesman for AAA Oklahoma. "We know holiday partiers are going to drink - this way, motorists and their vehicles get home in one piece."
To access AAA's Tipsy Tow service, call 1-800-222-4357 and ask for Tipsy Tow. The service is offered, no questions asked, to both AAA members and non-members alike. AAA will give you and your car a free ride home, within a 15-mile radius from the point of pick-up, anytime during the 16-hour period.
