About 30 to 35 new jobs will soon open up at the Ardmore Airpark.
Today crews broke ground on a new 25,000 square foot shop for King Aerospace.
The company plans to build on the foundation of the old Airpark base headquarters in honor of area veterans.
King Aerospace will use the shop to work on interiors of private planes.
The Ardmore Development Authority says it should create about 30 to 35 jobs.
Jerry King owns the company and said, "With general corporate aviation and the large airplane industry down no one's building much right now, and this really sends a message that we are here for years and years to come."
The shop should be finished by the end of the summer.
