The meeting saw the ADA president and CEO make his retirement official, and a new interim president was appointed.
The ADA unanimously accepted the retirement of the current CEO, Wes Stucky.
Stucky had planned to retire in April, but it became effective today.
They also appointed ADA Vice President Brian Carter to be Interim President of the Development Authority on a 7 to 2 vote.
The ADA Chairman said Stucky's retirement has nothing to do with the city's investigation into some ADA board members' eligibility.
"He just felt that it was time for him to pay more attention to his family and his health," said Larry Pulliam, ADA Chairman.
A meeting agenda says the mayor and board of commissioners will have a special meeting tomorrow to discuss eligibility requirements necessary to serve as an ADA Board Member.
