SHERMAN, TX -- A car slammed into a house in Sherman earlier this afternoon, leaving behind hundreds of dollars in damage.

Firefighters say a woman turned too sharply onto the 700 block of West College Street, and ran into a house.

Crews say they believe she may have hit the gas instead of the brake.
No one was home at the time of the accident.
Investigators say the woman was treated and released from the scene.

Officials say they are still investigating.

And alcohol was not involved? They always mention when it was, why not when it wasn't? You don't have to be drunk to be stupid!

Instead of Sherman police arresting people with small amounts of marijuana in their house, I would feel much safer if they would enforced the 30mph speed limits on most of the streets here in town.

Why not do both? Or does that scenario not fit your agenda?
