Carter County fire burns 25 acres

LONE GROVE, OK -- More than two dozen acres in Carter County went up in flames Saturday afternoon.

The Lone Grove Fire Department says the blaze ignited off of Cheek Rd. around 3:30 p.m. Firefighters say about 25 acres went up in flames and that no structures were in danger. It took crews several hours to put the fire out. Fire officials believe the flames were sparked by a tractor.
