COAL COUNTY, OK -- A Coal County deputy charged with embezzlement was sentenced today in court.
According to the Coal County Court Clerk's office, John Flournoy received a 2 year deferred sentence.
Flournoy was charged with obtaining cash or merchandise by false pretenses.
Flournoy turned himself into authorities back in March, after he was was accused of taking more than $1300 from the Coal and Atoka County Drug Court for home visits and drug screenings that he never performed.
