SHERMAN, TEXAS -- Grayson County Judge Drue Bynum spoke to some young leaders and business professionals this afternoon, encouraging them to be more civically engaged.
The North Texas Young Professionals invited Bynum to Heritage Park in Sherman as part of their Pillars Forum series.
The series of speakers connects influential community leaders with up-and-coming business-people in Texoma.
"Each presenter brings something very personal to them about their experience, and we also hope that they talk a little bit about what they hope for the future of Texoma," Jared Tredway, with North Texas Young Professionals, said.
Judge Bynum shared lessons he learned during his time at West Point, as well as how he strives to maintain integrity and character while making decisions for the county.
