SHERMAN, TX-Grayson county voters listened to local candidates at Thursday night's public forum.
Candidates running for District 62 State Representative, Precinct 3 County Commissioner, Sherman Mayor and city councilor took the podium at the Grayson County Courthouse. They Addressed issues like education and the environment and also took questions from the audience.
Velma Starks said listening to each candidate will help her decide when it's time to cast the ballot.
"I'm really interested because it's easier when you can hear the answers to the same question from two different sides. And that way for me, it allows me to say, 'okay this is what this person said, not relying on ads,'" she said.
The forum was hosted by the Grayson County League of Women Voters.
