An Oklahoma House committee approved a bill today that could help bring down the feral hog population.
The bill would allow certain individuals to hunt feral hogs by aircraft.
The bill was approved unanimously by the Agriculture and Wildlife Committee.
So far some ranchers are supporting the bill because the feral hogs cost them money.
"I'm glad to see it, it's a good thing," said Bob Burkhart, a rancher. "Like I said, farmers and ranchers need help. It's expensive."
If the House Calendar Committee approves the bill, it will be available for a hearing on the House floor.
