GAINESVILLE, TX - The president of North Central Texas College is retiring and was honored Saturday at a softball game at the Gainesville campus.
Dr. Eddie Hadlock attended the game and threw the first pitch right before the Lady Lions took on Ranger College in a double header.
Hadlock has worked in education for 42 years and has served as the president of NCTC for the last 10.
Hadlock said the school has had many accomplishments over the years.
"We're fortunate to have phenomenal growth, enrollment, we have five campuses and have seen a lot of improvements in technology," said Hadlock.
His retirement will be effective August 31st.
