MARSHALL COUNTY, OK - Saturday the community group Save Lake Texoma will have a public meeting in Kingston to discuss the water level at Lake Texoma and how it's effecting the local economy.
The meeting is set to start at 1 p.m. Saturday afternoon in the Kingston Multipurpose Center.
Organizers said they've invited federal and state officials to talk about solutions for the low lake levels, and speakers will include legislators, scientists and activists.
Save Lake Texoma said the meeting is designed to provide a local forum for lawmakers, business owners and residents concerned about the impacts of lower water levels on lake tourism.
