BRYAN COUNTY, OK -- Monday, the security checkpoint at the Bryan County Courthouse will be in use.
Commissioner Monty Montgomery says everyone will have to enter through the east entrance and will have to pass through a metal detector and X-ray machine. He says there will also be an deputy at the door.
With courthouse shootings across the country, Montgomery says Bryan County wanted to beef up security to be pro-active not re-active.
