Sherman increases fees for splash park and swim lessons

SHERMAN, TEXAS -- Your time at the pool this summer could cost you a little bit more.

At last week's city council meeting, Sherman council members approved a one dollar increase for daily entry to their Splash Family Aquatic Center at Fairview Park, making the daily rate $4 for kids and $5 for those 16 and up.

They're also upping the cost of swimming lessons by $5, charging $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents.

The splash park opens May 23rd.
