SHERMAN, TX -- Sherman police are asking for your help to identify the man who held up a Valero convenience store earlier this month.
The Sherman Police department released the surveillance video Thursday afternoon in the hopes that someone will be able to identify the suspect.
This is surveillance video from the Valero on 1417 in Sherman, on November 1st.
You can see the suspect walks into and around the store. At the same time he approaches the counter, the clerk comes out of the back, and the suspect points a gun at the employee.
Police say the clerk gave him about $1,200 from the cash register. The clerk wasn't hurt and the man left the store.
Sherman Police say it's hard to get a good description because the man was wearing a light colored hoodie backward, with slits cut for his eyes. They're looking for a white man, about 5 foot 7.
"We're hoping that somebody will be able to identify this person and like I said, we may have some other evidence that will match up with what the people that call in to tell us," said Sergeant D.M. Hampton with the Sherman Police Department.
If you have any information, you're urged to contact the Sherman Police Department at: (903) 892-7290.
You can remain anonymous.
