SHERMAN, TX -- A water line break sent water shooting across a Sherman intersection Sunday morning.
City officials say they learned of the break at Wood and Taylor streets around 8 o'clock. They say a crew got it fixed around 10:30 a.m. Daryl Baker, with the city, says the line is older and made of cast iron. He believes the ground shifted and caused it to break.
Baker says homeowners did not suffer any property damage, but there will have to be road repairs.
