Sherman water plant shut down for a week

SHERMAN, TX-The City of Sherman will be running on well water this week.

Utilities director, Mark Gibson said starting Monday, the city will switch over to supplying well water to residents because the North Texas Municipal Water District was installing a new valve connecting Lake Texoma to the Sherman Water Treatment Plan.

Gibson said installation should be done by Wednesday and the water treatment plant will be back online Monday.
