ARDMORE, OK - Ardmore police say six teenagers are accused of stealing a car and using the stolen vehicle to commit more crimes.

Officers responded to the 1400 block of North Glen on Christmas Eve morning.

They found an empty sedan that they said was stolen from Lone Grove then driven to Ardmore where teens are accused of breaking into multiple vehicles.

Police detained 6 teenage boys between the ages of 14 and 17 years old. They're now facing charges of larceny of an automobile, possession of stolen property and multiple counts of auto burglary.

APD asks drivers to always lock their doors.

"At this time we believe that the cars they broke into were all unlocked," said APD Sgt. Ryan Hunnicutt. "There's no broken windows, no signs of forced entry on any of the other victims vehicles."

The juveniles have all been released to their parents.

Ardmore police are still investigating the case.
