Three elected officials came down from the Oklahoma state capitol to discuss current issues in Ardmore.
Representatives Pat Ownbey and Tommy Hardin and State Senator Frank Simpson attended today's Legislative Luncheon.
Today's topics -- Workers comp. reform, cutting the state income tax and reforming the Department of Human Services.
Ownbey hopes the luncheon will serve as a progress report to the people.
"There's some lockup on some of these issues as well so it gives everyone an opportunity to see where we're at and ask questions about specific issues," said Rep. Ownbey.
The next Legislative Luncheon will feature county officials on April 19th at the Ardmore Convention Center.
