GAINESVILLE, TX -- Drivers in Gainesville will have to use an alternate route this weekend.
The US 82 bridge over I-35 will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. Friday night. TXDOT officials say workers will repair the bridge through the entire weekend -- weather permitting.
Signage has been set up directing drivers to alternate routes.
