VAN ALSTYNE, TX -- The Van Alstyne "Fall der All" brought out people of all ages.
More than 60 vendors lined the streets, and dozens participated in a scarecrow parade earlier today. Those who dressed up were awarded this afternoon.
One mom dressed her whole family up as characters from the "Wizard of Oz".
"It's really exciting for our whole family. We've always wanted to be in parades and we did that before, and this is where we live now and the city of Van Alstyne is wonderful place. We wanted to just be involved and be a part of the community. It was a fun activity for me and the kids for sure," Ashley Beck said.
If you missed today's activities, there is still time to stop by the haunted house in Van Alstyne on Marshall and Preston. It's open untill 11:00 Saturday night.
