2 arrested in Denison drug raid

DENISON, TX -- Denison Police arrested two men on Tuesday after they found a large amount of drugs and money in their car. Rashadi Shepard and Arthur Delmast were taken into custody after police received a tip from a confidential informant saying the two men were involved in drug activity.

Sherman mother abandons children in car in Collin Co.

COLLIN COUNTY, TX -- A Sherman mother is in jail charged after leaving her two kids in a vehicle on the side of the highway. Margarita Huerta, from Sherman, has been charged with two counts of endangering a child and abandoning a child.

Fire strikes Whitewright family twice in ten days

Possible library site a familiar one in Denison

Litter a serious problem at Denison Dam

DENISON, TX -- The Army Corps of Engineers is asking people to clean up their act when they visit the Denison Dam. While there are at least fifteen trash cans around the dam, the Corps says many visitors just don't use them. An email from a viewer asked us to check out the Red River at the Denison Dam, so we did, and what we found when we got out there may come as a shock.

ARDMORE, OK -- Christmas is eight days away, and time is growing short for a local charity trying to help provide toys for kids in need. Ardmore Toys for Tots say they are still thousands of toys short of their goal, and organizers fear several hundred kids in Carter County may not even get gifts this Christmas.
