SHERMAN, TX -- In August, TX-DOT officials placed a patch on about 40 signs along Highway 75. The pieces of metal covered up 'Sherman,’ and replacing it with McKinney. They say just drive through McKinney and you'll see why.

Ada woman pleads not guilty to shooting husband

ADA, OK -- An Ada woman pleaded not guilty Thursday afternoon in the a Ponotoc County courtroom to charges that she attempted to kill her husband two weeks ago. The arrest stems from a domestic dispute when Rachel Furr shot her husband, 44-year-old Harvey Furr, in the back with a shotgun.
