Townsend honored

Fallen Denison firefighter Phillip Townsend will be among 87 men and women nationally honored for their sacrifices. Townsend died from injuries he received fighting a fire at a Denison business December 30th, 2006.

Credit card fraud in Carter Co.

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. -- Four people are in jail after authorities say they went on a shopping spree using stolen credit cards. Ardmore Police say these people went to area stores in Ardmore and spent $7,000 on various electronics, from big screen TV’s to Sony Playstations.

Bizarre hit-and-run

SHERMAN, Tex. -- A hit and run accident happened just before midnight in the 400 block of West Lamberth in Sherman. Police say a brown Pontiac Sunfire was backing out of a driveway when a white Pontiac Grand-Am accelerated into the car.

Attempted kidnapping in Sherman

SHERMAN, Tex. -- Sherman Police are looking for a man who may have tried to lure a 9-year-old girl into his van Wednesday morning. Around seven o'clock near Crutchfield School in Sherman, the girl said the man motioned for her to go to the van, but she ran away back to her home.
