Fallen Denison firefighter Phillip Townsend will be among 87 men and women nationally honored for their sacrifices. Townsend died from injuries he received fighting a fire at a Denison business December 30th, 2006.

SHERMAN, Tex. -- A hit and run accident happened just before midnight in the 400 block of West Lamberth in Sherman. Police say a brown Pontiac Sunfire was backing out of a driveway when a white Pontiac Grand-Am accelerated into the car.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Mayor Bob Guerin was among several people who put their taste buds to the test during a chili cook-off today. It was all part of a United Way fundraiser. Workers from Valero cooked up their best bowls of chili, which were judged by Mayor Guerin.

SOUTHMAYD, Tex. -- An accident in Southmayd sent three people to the hospital Wednesday afternoon. Police say a pick-up truck traveling west on Highway 56 pulled out in front of a truck headed east toward Sherman.

SHERMAN, Tex. -- A man was found hiding in the closet of a woman’s residence in Sherman around midnight Tuesday night on South Charles Street.

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- A worker cleaning up from Tuesday night's storms in Fannin County was sent to the hospital on Wednesday. As of Wednesday morning, there were still close to 900 people in the dark.

GAINESVILLE, Tex. -- The Gainesville Police Department arrested twelve people Wednesday morning related to last week’s gang fight that left a 16-year-old fighting for his life.

SHERMAN, Tex. -- Sherman Police are looking for a man who may have tried to lure a 9-year-old girl into his van Wednesday morning. Around seven o'clock near Crutchfield School in Sherman, the girl said the man motioned for her to go to the van, but she ran away back to her home.

MADILL, Okla. --A Marshall County company is changing hands. CM Trailer officials made a big announcement to their employees on Tuesday. On Tuesday, the company told their employees that Big Tex Trailers, a Mount Pleasant company, is buying CM in a multimillion dollar deal.

MURRAY COUNTY, Okla. -- It was a scary night for a Murray County Sheriff's Deputy on Monday. According to the Davis Police Department, officers were in pursuit of 53-year-old Shannon Gilbert of Pauls Valley.

MARIETTA, Okla. - The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a Comanche man died Monday in a fatal accident in Love County in southern Oklahoma.
