Neblett Elementary Dedication

SHERMAN, Tex. -- Sherman ISD cut the ribbon at their newest campus. School officials dedicated Percy W. Neblett Elementary School Friday afternoon. The ceremony in the school cafetorium highlighted Neblett's life, as well as accomplishments of the school district.

SHERMAN, Tex. -- New laws will mean convicted sex offenders could face stiffer sentences. In Texas--Jessica’s law goes into effect next week. It's named after a 9-year-old that was brutally raped and killed in Florida back in 2005.

Sherman fire chief reinstated

SHERMAN – Fire Chief Jeff Jones was welcomed back to work today with open arms after city officials announced the end of their month-long investigation, but officials say the investigation of the entire department will continue.

Report sheds light on moments before Townsend's death

Business bouncing back

LAKE TEXOMA, Tex. -- The waters at Lake Texoma have fallen 16 feet since the beginning of July when they overflowed the Denison Dam Spillway. In fact, they're falling by half a foot each day. Those receding waters are good news for business and tourism at the lake.

Bonham man in custody facing several charges

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- A Bonham police officer is back to work after being hit by a car Monday night. Fannin County Sheriff’s officers say it all started around nine o'clock last night after officers responded to a domestic call off of Highway 78.
