SHERMAN, Tex. -- A car crash at FM 1417 and Washington Street occurred just after 5 p.m. on Tuesday and sent at least three more area residents to the hospital.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Expansion is underway at the new Mercy Memorial Health Center. Starting Wednesday, the way patients get to the hospital will change. Starting on Wednesday, hospital visitors will not be able to use 14th North West as a through street.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- A 30-year-old Ardmore man is behind bars for taking a bite out of the wrong side of the law. Authorities say Michael Nathan Rice was being placed under arrest early Sunday morning when he became violent and started resisting arrest.

ARLINGTON, Tex. -- One North Texas school district is making changes after playground equipment spontaneously erupts into flames. Surveillance cameras an elementary school in Arlington captured playground equipment going up in flames Thursday. The video shows the play area engulfed in flames in less than one minute.

It’s a warning against telephone scam artists. Some area senior citizens say they've received phone calls that could compromise their privacy. They pose as Medicare employees trying to verify information for a new card. Officials say these callers don't work for their organization.

WILSON, Okla. -- Firefighters in Carter County have been busy over the past two weeks, fighting fires they believe were intentionally set. As of Monday, several homes and trailers houses, along with an old Head Start building right next to the Wilson Elementary School, have been the target of what authorities believe to be the work of an arsonist.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Police in Ardmore have arrested three men on robbery and burglary charges, and a fight involving more than 20 people broke out in a restaurant parking lot over the weekend.

DENISON -- A local Marine who was killed in a motorcycle accident in Fairfax, Virginia, last week was laid to rest in Denison on Monday. Family and friends held funeral services for Lance Corporal Alex Morales.

GRAYSON COUNTY, Tex. -- Early Monday morning, the Grayson County District Attorney's Office, with the help of local authorities, began arresting those with outstanding felony warrants for hot checks, and they say Monday was just the start.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Deondrae Maytubby, the last of the suspects involved in the brutal murder of Steven Paul Goddard, surrendered to authorities in Ardmore on Friday afternoon.

SHERMAN -- Funeral services are now set for Sherman soldier Braden Long, 19, who was killed in Iraq on Saturday. Family members say funeral services for long are set for August 19th at the Waldo Funeral Home in Sherman. Long will be escorted back to the states by his brother, who is also serving in the Air Force in Germany.

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Some residents in Ardmore were temporarily left high and dry on Friday morning because of two water main breaks. The public works authority says a six inch and twelve inch main broke at around two o'clock Friday morning. The smaller main broke off Commerce and Maxwell Street.
