Police investigating drive-by shooting in Ardmore

ARDMORE, Okla. -- It was a scary night for an Ardmore family Monday night as around 10 p.m. a drive-by shooting occurred on the corner of A Street and 10th North West. Police say two shots where fired at the home while three children under the age of 5 were inside the home.

Wilson man jailed after shooting own dog

ARDMORE, Okla. -- A Wilson man is being held in the Carter County Jail in Ardmore after scuffling with neighbors and shooting his own dog. The Wilson police chief says J.D. Shivers was jailed Sunday night after his neighbors called police to say he was shooting into their yard and at his dog.

Bonham man facing charges for taping family taking bath

FANNIN COUNTY, Tex. -- A Bonham man has been indicted on charges of improper visual recording after a local mother claims he taped her and her children taking a bath. Jacob Clyde Eaton, 32, of Bonham was indicted for the crime last Thursday.

Council keeps deadline on old Denison H.S.

DENISON, Tex. -- Weeks into the demolition of the old Denison High School comes yet another attempt to save a piece of history. In an emotional meeting after more than an hour of debate, the council kept its promise Monday to maintain its deadline of August 10 for 'Save Old DHS' come up with a plan to save the 94-year-old structure.

Paris trooper receives Purple Heart

GARLAND, Tex. -- A Texas State Trooper from Paris was awarded the Purple Heart for courage Friday afternoon after he sustained serious injuries while on duty. Trooper James Kain was hurt in February of 2003 while investigating an accident on the Sulphur River Bridge.
